STEREO PULTEC EQP-1A

The MANLEY Stereo PULTEC EQP-1A is our own interpretation of the historic Pultec equalizer as originally produced by Pulse Techniques, Inc. We've been making these Manley Pultec equalizers since 1990, after taking the trouble to track down Eugene Shenk in New Jersey to ask his permission and blessing to produce our own version of his classic device. These Manley Pultec units use our own simple and clean tube boost gain block to re-amplify the signal after the passive EQ circuit. The EQ can be set to 'flat' positions or fully BYPASSED. All BOOST and CUT controls are continuously variable conductive plastic potentiometers for absolutely silent operation and long life. Our single rack monoblocks take up a third of the space of the "old Pultecs", an important consideration when allocating external rack space. And if you notice, we've also added a few extra frequencies.
